Carmody Construction Completes Oswego Roofing Job

We recently completed another Oswego job in the Morgan Crossing neighborhood, located on the village’s south side. Our homeowners were in need of a new roof and called on the local team at Carmody.

In a recent blog we discussed whether homeowners should shingle over existing roofs or tear off and start anew.  In this case, our homeowners chose to complete a tear off.

After removing the old shingles, we discovered damage to the original roof decking. Because we wanted to ensure the job was done correctly, we recommended a complete decking removal and replacement, and our homeowners agreed.

Next, we replaced the home’s original shingles with IKO brand shingles. Finally, we cleaned up our mess and were on our way, leaving the house to our happy homeowners.
