Carmody Construction Rehabs Sugar Grove Home

At Carmody Construction we love every opportunity we can get to completely rehab a home inside and out. Not only does it bring new life to an older home that might need some love, but it also helps improve the local neighborhood and community.

We had one such opportunity recently with a home in Dugan Woods in Sugar Grove, IL.  We purchased this four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home in August 2017, and when we did it needed many updates. We began by updating the kitchen with refinished cabinets and refinished flooring. Next, we tackled the bathrooms, completely updating each. We then painted all the rooms and installed new carpet throughout.

While our crew finished up inside the home, our exterior remodeling team got to work outside. When we purchased the home the exterior was dark and didn’t present a very inviting curb appeal. We sure changed that!

This home received the full Carmody exterior treatment, including new siding, roof, windows, doors, gutters, downspouts, soffits and paint. We also added a brand new deck on the back of the home, overlooking a well-maintained tree-lined lot. The new exterior look of this home is now bright and cheery — a place anyone would want to come home to.
